Doc the Horse needs a home
Doc is our extremely handsome sorrel quarter horse gelding that has been with us here at Healing Hearts for the past 11 years so he is definitely a healing hearts veteran that we would love see find an amazing forever home. Doc was surrendered to us when his owners fell on hard times, we actually worked with another rescue from Utah where he was born and raised. Doc was kicked as a 4 year old in his knee which has left him unrideable and arthritic. He is not lame and can still run and play just like all the other horses and it doesn’t seem to be painful for him whatsoever, just looks uncomfortable but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way he acts. Doc has been worked with extensively before his accident, he was brought to Ray Hunt and Buck Brannnaman clinics and has all the natural horsemanship training we all have come to love. He is so easy going and extremely well behaved, he does great with both mares and geldings and is somewhere in the middle of the pecking order. Doc stands just fine for the farrier, has solid hard feet, bathes, trailers and ties like a dream.
